Ruminant Nutritionist

Koudijs Animal Nutrition, part of Royal De Heus, operates worldwide in the sale of premixes, concentrates, and feed specialties to the compound feed industry, dealers, and distributors. In recent years, we have achieved high growth, both organically and through acquisitions and our goal is to continue this successful growth strategy. Delivering high quality nutrition to our customers is our top priority, with food security and safety as prerequisites.

To strengthen our Nutrition and Support team for Africa and Koudijs, based in Ede, we are looking for an enthusiastic Ruminant Nutritionist.

You will work in a dynamic, no-nonsense organization with hands-on mentality.

Your main responsibilities:

• Going into the market with our account managers to give technical support to our customers to improve sales;
• Collaborate with our premix-, poultry-, swine-, and aqua nutritionists and account managers to deliver optimal solutions to our customers;
• You are responsible for feed formulations and feed portfolio for our customers;
• Answer technical questions and participate in technical discussions with customers;
• Provide training to customers.

• You’ve completed a higher professional education in agriculture;
• At least 5 years of experience in the animal feed industry;
• Thorough knowledge of ruminant feed formulations;
• Shows initiative and possess a commercial drive;
• On farm experience is a plus;
• Good communication skills and an open attitude;
• Preferably fluent in Dutch, English and German;
• Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time within Europe.
