Recently, the milk and dairy line in our specialized pig feed factory in Andel has been expanded. “With this investment, additional flexibility is created, enabling us to process even more raw materials and better produce based on our customers’ needs,” says Bram Bronsvoort, Swine Specialist at Koudijs. This allows our customers to have complete milk and high-quality dairy based products tailored to their needs and market demand”.

What’s new

The milk line is expanded with several (large) raw material silos, along with associated weighing systems and flexible BigBag weighers. The raw material silos are designed to handle materials with more challenging flow characteristics. All of this is linked to our standalone milk and dairy line, where we apply a very specific mixing process to create a perfectly homogeneous product. This mixing process makes it possible to blend high amounts of oils and liquids while still producing a perfectly mixed product.

Specialized line for milk products and dairy based products

The quality of these products has to be of no discussion. Of course, it starts with the raw materials, but also the production is highly important. The milk and dairy line is completely separated from the other production lines, which eliminates cross-contamination and allows us to fully optimize this line for the production of dairy products. Products produced in this line can be used in all kinds of automatic liquid feeding systems such as cups, Nutrix, Automix, and other comparable systems.

For carefree piglet rearing, a consistent and user-friendly product of high-quality is a must

The importance of high-quality, consistent and easy-to-use milks

The continuously increasing numbers of piglets, combined with the desire to raise piglets as healthily as possible, without the use of medications, have a strong impact on the demand for supplementing piglets with milk and adding dairy products to feeds for the youngest piglets. There is also a clear demand for customer-specific blends and piglet milks. The new line is perfectly equipped for this, offering suitable dairy blends for the production of your piglet feeds, as well as complete piglet milks ranging from top milk, which can be safely fed from day 2, to dry milks. We can also efficiently produce more straightforward and very competitively priced and small batches quickly.
